Latest Update: 15th May

Before your round:

the following is an indication of what we expect before play

- all players will be expected to book in online before they arrive at the course
- players are expected to turn up approximately 20 minutes before their tee time; this helps negate large congregation in different areas
- all players need to report to the pro shop through the main door (practice green side), at this point they will sign in and pay for anything they need to before exiting through the back door (car park side)
- there is a limit of four people allowed in the pro shop to ensure correct social distancing is in place; please wait by the door if this limit is reached

During your round:

the following highlights some of the key differences for the playing of golf at level 2

- all play is commencing off the first tee except on Saturday where we will have a two-tee start
- players are instructed to not take sand buckets (unless they have their own personal one) but are expected to repair all divots with the grass that was removed
- pitchmarks must be fixed; this was a prominent problem in level 3 and there are no excuses for not fixing these
- flagsticks are not to be touched or removed
- scorecards will be issued however it is encouraged that players complete them by themselves and only get their marker to sign at the completion of the round; the marker should not sign the card if they believe the score to be incorrect
- bunkers will not have rakes in them and the same foot-rake method will be used; if a player hits their ball in the bunker they are entitled to ‘place’ their lie
- you should not touch or play with other’s equipment
- drinking fountains are not operational however the on course toilets are in operation
- handshakes at the conclusion of the round should be replaced with a lesser form of contact (elbow bumps etc)

Post round:

the following highlights the stricter conditions post-round mainly focussing on the café/bar

- the café/bar is open from Saturday onwards
- players going into the café/bar will sit at a numbered table and will be required to sit only with their playing group; players not following this guideline and intermingling will be expected to leave
- table service will occur whereby a staff member will take the order for the entire group and will require your names for sign-in details and contact tracing
- alcoholic beverages will be available but will only be available to be purchased with a meal (Easter trading rules)
- cabinet food will not be available, there will however be a limited menu you can choose from; this will be available to view before your round so you can decide whilst on the course
- there is a two hour maximum for players to remain upstairs
